‘Period.’ is a handheld device targeted mainly towards visually impaired women. It aims to promote understanding of their menstrual cycle and provide certainty in knowing when their menstruation officially starts and ends.
This is achieved through the device's ability to identify and analyse the colour of users’ menstrual blood. Along with its companion mobile application, users are informed of the meaning behind their menstrual blood colour and when should there be a cause for concern.

Huda is a curious designer who believes in exploring creativity through perceptive ways for users with different needs. Researching, questioning current assumptions and being bold to try something new are ways she approaches design. Her strength lies in observing her surroundings, conducting research to gather insights on people’s lifestyles and finding creativity to solve problems around her.
